April 18, Dear Ms [redacted] ,I'm writing this letter in response to the complaint brought against Hotel Lombardy ID [redacted] Our response is listed below:On April 6th when Ms [redacted] finally contacted our staff she spoke to our front desk agent whom referred her to our Front Office manager for dialogAfter said conversation our FOM informed us that we would comp a dinner for Ms [redacted] for the inconveniences she incurred during her stayOn our evening report our FOM mentioned that Ms [redacted] did not come down for dinner on the previous nightOur entire staff thought she didn't want or didn't have the time to come down for dinnerAfter her check-out she called and spoke to our Assistant General Manager about her situationAfter his investigation he informed me that there was small dust particles on the ceiling fan that day but there was absolutely no moldSince there had seemed to be some sort of communication error during her visit about her dinner he offered to compensate her for what would have been the cost of her dinnerShe refused! At that point he apologized again and ask her what else he could do to assist herThe following week we receive a call from our VP of Marketing about Ms [redacted] We explained what happened and she offered Ms [redacted] the same thing and she again refused.It is always our effort to make sure every guest has a pleasant experience when staying at the Hotel LombardyEvery person Ms [redacted] spoke with was pleasant, courteous and willing to assist in any way they couldI'm a little surprised that Ms [redacted] initially wanted dinner and now for some reason wants her entire stay compedWe will not be able to accommodate her request for a free stay because when she informed us of the deficiencies in her room we took care of them immediately and we do not believe that warrants a complimentary stayBest Regards, Corrado P [redacted] General ManagerHotel Lombardy
