On May 10, the customer brought in a prescription from an outside doctorHe purchased a frame and lensesOn February 12, he brought in a prescription from a recheck with his doctorOur office remade the lenses at no-charge; changing the base curve to match the doctor’s
instructionsWe did not change the prescription at this time, this may have been in errare unsure of the details of the discussion
On February 24, we remade the left lens at no-charge to match the prescription of the recheckWe did not change the right lens at this time because the change was so minimal
On March 11, we remade the right lens at no charge to match the prescription of the recheck because the customer was still experiencing some difficulty
Our office has no further notes on fileWe are not sure if we have had any other communication with the customer about this matterWe feel that we did fill the prescription accurately and tried to troubleshoot the problems that the customer was experiencingWe were unaware of any complaints since changing the right lens in March As a goodwill gesture we would be willing to refund the purchase price of the lenses even though the prescription was filled according to industry standards
