August 11, 2017There were 2 issues in this matter. The claimant showed me some damage on his car and said that it had been done by the washing machine in the carwash. The nature and location of the damage were Such that it Could not have been caused by the wash. The damage was a cluster of small...
punctures in the paint on the rear bumper. These punctures were in the middle of the bumper and in the shape of a footprint. The claimant stated that he had inspected the car prior to entering the wash. He noticed the "footprint" later and came back to the carwash and callede.Does your organization have any volunteers to evaluate claims of this nature? The other issue was the claim of theft. This claim Stemmed from the fact that when Credit Cards are used to start a purchase where the final cost is not known, like in a carwash or a gas station, the customer's account is charged a certain maximum, in my case ten dollars. This amount shows up in the customer's account for a day or even two days, until the final Cost is charged... in this case 7 dollars.wrote to the claimant and asked his to confirm to me that the final charge had been only 7 dollars. He has to replied. To sum it up: The claimant wants me to pay for a damage that can not have been caused by my machinery. That is where matters stand now.Geir M[redacted] Supersparay Carwashes.
