We're sorry to hear that you had an unpleasant experience with us and apologize that you feel we are unclean. We do actually sanitize our tools each use and keep our salon very clean. What you saw was not cheese graters...

but are foot graters that we bought from the nail supply store that are perfectly safe to use on our customers. Once again we want to apologize about your fungus infection and we'll happily refund you the full amount. Thank you for your concerns of our salon.

Review: I got my toes done here and my toe was cut and became badly infected, discolored, and swollen. I came to Culpeper on my first available day off of work (per the businesses request) and was verbally harassed and told that it was a personal issue and I needed to cut my toenails better. Not only did I waste the 45 dollars on getting my toes done since my toe is huge and infected and looks absolutely disgusting, I wasted money on a babysitter and had for driving 40 minutes for them to do absolutely nothing to make the situation correct.Desired Settlement: I would love a refund, or for this business to be looked into for licensing and safe practicing.

Review: On 3/22/14, I entered the salon for a fill on my nail tips. Within a few days, I noticed that there was a green fungus and discoloration on my nail beds of my thumb and pointer finger of my right hand. Just the other day, I noticed green fungus and discoloration on my nail beds of my pointer and ring finger on my left hand. I had to take off those nail tips to prevent further infection and now have to spend additional money in treating them to get rid of the fungus. Not only did I get this infection, but I also observed what looked like to be hand held cheese graters being used on customer's feet!! I feel that the salon was using unclean products and I am highly concerned for not only more infections to take place, but for future and exisiting customers. I did call the [redacted] in Culpeper, VA and was advised via message from personnel that there were no local ordinances requiring anyone to inspect nail salons. I find this disturbing!!Desired Settlement: I would like a refund on my credit card that I used ( I still have the receipt available for verification). I also want them to know that they need to clean their products after every use and when applicable, use new products on customers each time.
