Thank you! I appreciate it. $329. is the cost that [redacted] charged me for the replacement phone, $149 is what they would have charged to replace the cracked screen on this iPhone. However, considering the phone was unusable and unrepairable at the point I brought it in, they could not just replace the cracked screen. The difference in cost was $180. I have provided copies of the receipt I was provided from [redacted].
The customer brought a non working device into our repair shop. We did our best to try to fix the device at our local shop. We were unable to fix and explained that the issue with the device required board level soldering and that we do not have the proper equipment. We kindly offered to send the...
device to another repair shop, [redacted] in [redacted] which we have worked with for years. Explained to the customer that this is not a guaranteed fix and there will be a non refundable diagnosis fee through the company that sent the device to and the customer agreed. According to [redacted], the device was not able to be repaired because of other components failing on the mother board of the device. The device was then sent back to us and the customer was notified that the device was not able to be repaired. The customer refuses to pay the $35 diagnosis fee that [redacted] charged us.
