I have read the response of that glenn r***, AND IT WAS ALL LIES I could guarantee, that he only made one phone call to me, and thats the only day he explained about the package that I have to choose, and couple days after I proceed to my bank and payed it Most of the contents on his email was make up stories, like, providing him wrong infos and docs, the only thing he asked was my marriage contract and a picture of my wife.Thats all Yes, like I said, they have made my petition for divorce, and send it to queens bench, but like I said the court asked me to change it because the once they made was all wrongAgain, NO MORE PHONE CALLS after I have paid him, I asked him to call me many times but he didntI CAN PROVIDE ALL OUR EMAIL Convos if you want to prove that glenn is living in lies Yes, he made his response late because we all know that he will make up some stories and the like And that CONTRACT?? We were hired to prepare divorce documents required for the complaintant to obtain a divorce in province of ManitobaThe client has the responsibility to provide all necessary information to ensure the documents are both accurate and legal. The package of services we offered the client in
this case also provided for my office to meet on one occasion for up to one hour as the first step to assist client in completing the application, and subsequently provided for my office to file the documents at the court After initial telephone calls to my office and numerous emails, it was agreed upon that due to clients work schedule, stress in his life, satisfactory working knowledge and understanding of English language that instead of meeting in person and in order to speed things up for him, that the initial consultation would be via telephoneThis was done in a hour telephone call, as well as various other telephone calls and numerous emailsThe application is the product of the one hour meeting and was completed as a result of the telephone consultation meeting, hence no in person meeting was necessary, and things quickly progressed beyond that stage for the benefit of the clientThe contract was for a flat rate based on to hours of work time by my officeHowever, as things unfolded, due to emotional stress upon the client for a few reasons, especially he claimed caused by his ex-wife and daughter, there were in excess of emails between client and my office, and telephone calls, mostly from client in constant panic seeking advice that is far beyond the scope of our agreementAdvice on numerous issues outside of typical agreement was always given by my office The client became increasingly fearful of his wife causing ups and downs in his dealing with us, which we can certainly understand and ensure we do not try and control the timing of events, the client remains in control of his process and his life circumstances, but by his own admission back then he failed to provide sufficient information in timely manner causing delays, ultimately needed a divorce application completed and filed at court within a one day time periodThat was completely unreasonable but due to his family issues causing much stress for him it was agreed upon by myself and the client that he would personally attend at the court filing desk to file the document. The reason for the delay in filing this client's application for divorce was because he could not provide legal and necessary information, one of which was his legal address for the court to have on record In his complaint to Revdex.com, referring to the filing at court desk, client raised question, "why do I have to do that"The answer, as supported by numerous emails on record, is simply since he was having much difficulty in dealings with his ex-wife, it would speed track his file and relieve stress on himSo, it was agreed upon that he would file the document, and we would reimburse him $for costs associated in doing that. In his complaint, it is noted that client made ridiculous comments, "that person at court told him such things as he could do this himself, he should not trust me, and he was over charged"I mentioned earlier in reply to client that I would be talking with court manager about such slanderous and outrageous comments, and that it is news to me that after years in this business that the court is now acting as advisor for clients and advisor of prices set in private practise. The client, after a few emails from my office, said in an email to me, "well I talked to a person sitting on a bench in the court, thought the person works at court but not in divorce section, don't know name or anything else about the person." Furthermore, it makes no sense that court staff tell a person not to trust someone that has already prepared the application to have a case startedOne could perhaps question a company if nothing had been started after a certain time period, but what the client had actually taken to the court was evidence that work was being done on the file for this client. The client is emotional and confused when he said "I lied to him"Simply put, we did our work in a timely fashion when possible, once received necessary information from client to do so. It is client responsibility to provide accurate information in timely manner which he failed to do on many occasions Any comments about changes to our web site are completely ridiculous as we have not made any changes or updates to our web site in at least years! At issue seems to be the amount the client was charged, and secondary what the client believes, if anything, he is entitled to as a refundThe excessive time involved in this case was due to the case becoming contested at timesWe were assisting with a heavily contested atmosphere, whereby the client emailed and called many times seeking advice which was outside our agreed upon serviceThe client was always in a panic and always in fear of his wife After we waived the opportunity to meet in person before filing, we agreed at client's request "to communicate to us by email"Additional time was put into this file due to such things as, the client had problems getting a legal address for us to use in the divorce application, and the client making his initial payment on account with us Additional time was spent on this file for reasons caused by the client such as: On many occasions we had telephone appointment booked at his request, then at last minute, the client (April emails) said "he was too busy, let's try later". Later he phoned, saying I am free now, phone me, so in order to accommodate the client many after hour phone calls and emails Often insufficient, incorrect information was provided to our office Many phone calls had to do with his "emotions" and fears of wife, for example, this email from client: "What can I tell her to make her satisfied? I felt like she needs it asap. " We slowed this file down at times due to client's request, for such documented reasons as him fighting with his wife, difficulty for his wife and daughter dealing with this, him moving and getting a new address, his work schedule, his emotions and high level of stressOur staff often worked after hours, and on Saturdays and Sundays in attempts to help this emotionally stressed out clientWe feel it only appropriate to receive token amount of compensation for this workCourts have ruled that in such cases the contractor is entitled for compensation for additional work being done at client's request Client stated in his complaint letter, "he was too mad since no one doesn't work on my request and did just nothing, he lied and corrupted me of about $Because, $1449, less $250, is $but he claimed I can't have a full refund so he sent me $600." I disagree with client's method of figuring out the agreed upon refundThe client was not entitled to any refund, however it was determined and at one point agreed upon, that he would be given a 50% refund after expenses just to close the file, as shown in this email back in August 2016, Hello Glenn, "I badly need my money" "Hi Glenn, Fyi, I have been lay off at work more than a month now, it was before the timei asked you to finance the petitionn and you sent some money I am totally brokei just want to stop and get my right amount of money back If you said 50%, do it tomorrow". The client paid $1449.00, was refunded $upon filing application at the court, leaving actual amount held by my office was $1199.00, 50% of is $On August 29, 2016, by agreement in emails from client, client was reimbursed $600.00, cents more than what was agreed upon As always, I wish him the very best, Glenn R***
