Review: I went to Super 8 gas Station on Dec 3rd at 10:15 am. I filled my tank up with Premium gas. I put in 12.84 gallons. My tank holds 13. I then drove approximatly 1 mile. My car stalled on the 91 freeway. My car is a 2013 Hyundai. I had 2000 miles on it. I had my car towed to Garden Grove Hyundai. They determined that I had 95% water in my gas tank. I had to pay $350 to have it fixed. $50 rent a car. And out $45 for the fill up. I went to owner and he told me my Hyundai dealership must have put water in my tank.?? He refused to compensate me for the damage. I have reciept for gas and all documentation for damage. I have pictures from the mechanic of the test tube with a inch of gas on top and the rest water.Desired Settlement: $350 for damages$50 rent a car$45 for fill up of water gas solution

Dear Ms. [redacted],
Thank you for allowing Super 8 to give our account of the situation. The claim of water in our
gas is completely unfounded. It is impossible for a gas station to remain in business with any
water in their tanks. Every time we are delivered gas, our vendors take their own measurements
before we are able to receive any gasoline under requirement by California state law. As soon as
the driver arrives with the tank, they use a stick with a 111 water marker to reveal if any water is
present. If the marker shows there is, he is legally required to refuse our station of any gasoline.
We are also required to take measurements with our own monitoring system, the Veeder Root
TLS-350, that details what is in each of our tanks. State law requires we take a reading every
morning after opening. We can provide the system's report for the day before, the day of, and the
day after the claim took place all demonstrating zero gallons of water in our tanks. I have record
of everyday for the last two years. Again, I thank you for your time.
