Made a last minute reservation with Wyndham Rewards, booked a room the day after Christmas 2020 using points for a reduced rate. Was delayed leaving, drove all night to find that I wasn't allowed to check in for the last hour of my stay for a shower, a nap, whatever. Told me I was a "no show", that I should have called, despite making the reservation at just 4pm the previous day. Seems predatory to me, charging my card and then refusing service or even a sympathetic ear. The Asst. Manager let slip they weren't even full that night, so they had a room the whole time. I left a message on the manager's phone that morning, then later contacted Wyndham Rewards and Wyndham Resorts in turn by email, with no results. I've just disputed the charge on my card, which is what I should have done to begin with. NOT a friendly place.
