Review: For prom, we decided to get a limo from this company. For our 8 person group, it was $63 per person to rent it. He told us we needed to put a $100 deposit down. That's where he left it at, no specifics. Well, my friends dad was in the hospital, and she couldn't afford it, so we had to drop the limo. This was about 3 days after we booked it. We booked it for May 4th, 2013. So on April 27th, 2013 we called to cancel. He said he couldn't do anything seeing how he wasn't in the office. But we definitely called. We called again on Monday, and had an extremely hard time getting ahold of him. He said to call him on Tuesday, so we did, and he said he couldn't give us our deposit back seeing how it's non-refundable. I was NEVER aware of this, otherwise I wouldn't have done it. I'm 17 years old, and I'm trying to save my money, so I wouldn't do something completely set in stone like that. Non-refundable wouldn't work for me unless the rest of the group payed up at that point aswell. I NEED this 100 dollars back, I can't just let it go to waste on something I'll never see. I'd understand if he told us it was non-refundable, but I know for a 100% fact that he didn't.Desired Settlement: I just want my $100 dollars back. It was split 50/50 between my boyfriend and I.
