Suntrup Buick Pontiac G M C Trucks

I put a down payment on a car, I was scheduled to pick up the car on Fri afternoon, They sold the car and never returned the down payment.

On Monday May 20th, I brought my wife in to look at a 2013 Terrain. After we left we decided to buy it, I called the sales women back and she accepted a 200 dollar down payment for the car. I told her I was traveling and would be back in on Friday to complete the paperwork. I called on Thursday evening and told our saleswomen that I would be in Friday afternoon to pick up the car. She was excited and said she would see me on Friday. I then filled out all the financing data on the Suntrup website and was preapproved for the pick up on Friday. Friday May 24th about 2:00 Pm as I was on my way in to pick up the vehicle, I got a call from the saleswomen who informed me that they sold the car. She blamed it on her sales manager ( [redacted]< I asked to speak to her and she told me it was my fault for waiting so long and that I had no business being upset. She was as rude as I have ever been treated. She eventually hung up on me when she couldn't come up with a good excuse as to why she broke the contract. I almost decided not to buy a terrain or a gmc but I called Dave Sinclair and they had the exact same car on the lot and I bought it from them. They were very easy to work with. I then called [redacted] at the Kirkwood store, (I have called three times) and he has never given me the courtesy of a follow up phone call. I have never had my money returned to me and I would like it in the form of a check, as I do not trust these people with my credit card. I will also be contacting The GMC complaint department since no one from Suntrup has contacted me. This is the worst experience I have ever had with any purchase in my life. I will make sure I tell everyone I know about this and ask them to pass it along.
