receipt of your letter dated April 23, The letter was addressed to *** *** *** *** our address is *** *** *** *** *** ** *** So it
took a while to reach usCustomer's statement of the problems: "The
dealer
sold me a car that has water damage" Dealer response: We are not
aware of any water damage and have *** a copy of the *** report
"The windshield wiper in the back does not work" Dealer response: The
windshield wiper was working when the vehicle left the lot and is not covered
under the customer's powertrain warranty with Preferred Warranties, copy
attached"A couple of months after I got it the *** convert went
up" Dealer response: See copy of power train warranty with Preferred
Warranty"The fuse box has a bunch of white goo on it so im not able to
take the fuses out an it is under the extended warranty" Dealer response:
Not sure what "white goo" Mr*** is referring to, he never
brought the vehicle backHis extended warranty is between him and Preferred
Warranties, copy attached, not with Wayne Talley Auto SalesDesired
Settlement: "At first he told me that he would put me in another vehicle
as a trade in then he changes his story an said that he wanted me to give him
the vehicle an $3000.00" Dealer response: Mr*** has called numerous
times wanting to trade his van in on a *** VanUnfortunately I haven't had
any *** vans in stockThe last time I spoke with him, he asked me what kind
of SUVs I had on the lot, the one he chose was a more expensive vehicle and
without seeing his van, I advised him that he may need as much as $
differenceWithout seeing his van, there was no way to tell
