I own a 1940 over-sized cape with several roofs and seams. It was in need of a full tear-off and new roof. After sitting down with several other roofing companies and coming away unimpressed, I decided to give Sunset a call since they had a 5-star rating. And, boy, am I glad that I did! Sunset prices were competitive and they completed the job in two days. They were professional, punctual, and best of all proficient--my roof looks amazing and is the talk of the neighborhood. I would recommend Sunset any day of the week!

Had my roof replaced by Sunset recently. Choose them based on all the positive reviews. I have had a leaky stone chimney on my home for the last 30 years that no one has been able to resolve. Positive experience from estimate to the completion of the project. Workers were professional and no problems so far. Removed box vents and installed ridge vent system.

One of the workers came on a Sunday and did some repairs on our roof. Very professional staff and cares about the work they do. I don't know many contractors that work on a Sunday.

After researching other company’s to help with our roofing issues we came into contact with Roman our sales representative from Sunset Roofing. The Complete Job was Awesome.. Roman from Sunset Roofing LLC was able to come out within two days after calling him to look at our roof for an estimate. After his evaluation of our roof, not only did Roman give us a quote, he also determined we had some storm damage an recommended we contact our insurance company.. After contacting the insurance, the insurance company sent out an adjuster and David from Sunset Roofing LLC was there to work with adjuster to identify the roof damage.. Thanks to Roman/David professional evaluation the insurance company helped us pay to have our roof replaced.. Sunset Roofing LLC team of professional roofers placed tarps down over the area they were stripping the roof which protected the house and shrubbery.. They went over and beyond to ensure the job was not only done correctly, but the level of quality was phenomenal.. Sunset Roofing LLC has their own trailer, so we had no dumpster sitting in our driveway or yard. The cleanup was flawless.. Sunset Roofing was SUPER EASY to work with! From start to finish, everything went smoothly. Roman was incredibly knowledgeable and everything was explained in a way we could understand it. He was also very helpful in dealing with the insurance company. The roofers were efficient. It rained halfway through the job and they stayed late to ensure there would be no leaks until they could finish. In addition to great quality, our roof looks great!

Roman walked me through the whole process starting with the insurance adjuster to my new beautiful roof. He was able to get a whole new roof approved after it had gone through a bad windstorm this past March. Sunset is one of the ONLY Platinum Certified Owens/Corning Roofers in the Rochester, NY area which was one of three deciding factor for me. I have recommended SUNSET to many of my neighbors in the Henrietta/Rochester area.

A couple months ago we had a wind storm that had left my roof in disrepair. I reached out to a couple of roofers immediately following the storm and the quickest to the scene was Sunset Roofing (Roman), so they tarped it up within a day of the damage being done. As I went through the process of making an insurance claim, and waiting for the adjuster, Roman was easy to reach and was willing to come out to ensure the insurance company was fair in their assessment. Sure enough they agreed to replace my roof, and Roman was immediately there to ensure that I wasn't paying any more than I needed to.
Initially, I was told it would be 4-6 weeks before they could get to my roof due to the demanding schedule after the storm, but Roman was able to fit me in in 3 weeks time. The guys showed up at 7am and left by 6pm. That was a full tear off of a large roof and complete replacement in 11 hours. When I got home there was barely a trace of them, and I had a brand new roof.
I am very pleased, both with the professionalism and efficiency, of Sunset Roofing. I will definitely call on them again were the need to arise.

Best move I could’ve made. A representative came to meet with me within a few days of my first call and could not have been more knowledgeable or helpful throughout the entire process, including helping me work with my insurance company. The job was done well and quickly and the workers left my house just as tidy as they found it. Very happy with my decision to use Sunset Roofing!

Sunset replaced my roof in one day! I was amazed. I got three other quotes and Roman was the only one who got on the roof AND looked in the attic at the underside. Roman helped me get over $5,000 from my insurance company due to wind damage. The crew damaged one screen but Roman had it fixed and back the next day.

We had a great all-around experience with Sunset Roofing. Our salesperson, Roman, was knowledgeable, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. There were no surprises as our final bill matched the estimate. They finished a complete tear-off of a 2k foot colonial in 2 days and most likely would have been done in a single day if not for some rain. The new shingles look great and we've had no issues. The job site was left clean.

He assisted us with an insurance claim while no other roofing estimator even offered. The crew was professional, kind, courteous, and cleaned the property better than it was before the job. Sunset Roofing is the "honest" roofing company in Rochester along with giving us a fair price. I highly recommend calling Sunset because you can deal with confidence with this roofing company!

Roman was very friendly, knowledgeable and thorough with our estimate. He was always prompt with correspondence, and the work Sunset Roofing did was exceptional. We had our house roof done (Ranch style, 1 floor, only took about half a day!) as well as the roof on our shed. Our shed had a hole in the roof, which ended up needing a complete roof repair, which they accommodated immediately at a very reasonable price. Sunset Roofing uses the best materials at a comparable price, would highly recommend! Shoutout to David and the guys who stayed late to finish the shed!

Sunset Roofing did an excellent job replacing our large shingle roof in just over 2 days. Roman was great quoting and scheduling the job and Sam responded all our concerns during the job. The roof is steep with many valleys but was not too difficult for this team. A new skylight was also installed. Surroundings were well protected and cleanup was great. We would highly recommend Sunset Roofing.
