From: [redacted] Date: Fri, Apr 1, at 3:PMSubject: Revdex.com Complaint ID [redacted] To: [redacted] Hello,This is in response to Revdex.com Complaint ID [redacted] Customer purchased a computer from us on 1/3/The order was processed and shipped via Fed Ex on 1/5/ At the time of the shipment, a tracking number was sent to the customer advising them of the status and delivery date of their purchaseFed Ex delivered the package on 1/12/with the entire contents inside the boxWhen customer returned home, she stated all she found was the empty boxCustomer then filed a claim with eBay stating she did not receive the packageThe claim was denied by eBay because we provided a tracking number and verified this tracking number with Fed Ex stating this was delivered on 1/12/The customer also filed a claim with Fed Ex stating the box was opened when she returned homeThis claim was ultimately denied by Fed Ex as well We believe it is the customer's responsibility to track the package and to make arrangements to be available for the delivery since the delivery date is clearly stated on the Fed Ex as well as eBay web sites Best regards,
I am rejecting this response because: When I saw from the tracking link that the computer was delivered by FedEx, I called my son to go outside and checked. He didn't see any package since the box was opened and no computer inside. The empty box was placed under the stairwells. He did not hear anyone ring the doorbell to inform me to take the package. I contacted the seller and they relied on ebay that they will contact FedEx. I have never received any response from the seller so I filed a claim from FedEx. FedEx relied me that for that kind of claim and complaint, the sender is the side to file a claim within 9 months but not the receiver.
