Failure to return calls. I have called five times in the last three weeks. None returned. I did talk to repair service on about my fourth call and he set up an appointment, but they never showed. Still waiting for a call back.

Review: We saw these windows demonstrated at the Home and Garden Show in Phoenix. We set up a date for a home demonstration and free estimate. During the presentation on Jan. 27, 2015 we saw a double-hung demonstration window which has a frame of 2 inch on top and bottom and 3 inch on sides. We decided on 3 double hung windows, one picture window and 2 side slider windows, one large(72X48) and one small (48X36). We had an estimate on the remainder of the household windows at a separate time due to finances. Installation was on Feb. 11, 2015. We were happy with all windows except the smaller slider, which I mentioned right away to the installer. The frame around the side of the slider windows was 3 1/2 inches on top and bottom and 3 in on each side, and 1 3/4 inch in the middle which cut the view dramatically. (total of 11 3/4 inches off our view from previous window frame) We were unaware there was this much difference in the frames of the double hung windows vs the side slider windows (we only saw the double hung window) and since it is a water view, and a small window, this cut out quite a bit of our view. The installer stated he understood my complaint and would mention this to the management. A project manager came to the house the next week and reviewed the complaint, measured the frames and stated that he had never had such a complaint, and since we had initialed and signed off on the purchase agreement we needed to decide whether we wanted the best windows or the view, but he would go back to the shop and talk to the boss about it. We have not heard from the owner since. I called last week and spoke with a lady who informed me that the owner was not available so I left my name and phone number and asked for a call back. We have still not heard from the owner. They advertise 100% customer satisfaction guarantee and A+ Revdex.com rating for excellence in customer service, but I do not think they are living up to their advertising! After all, what are windows for if not the VIEW???Desired Settlement: We would either like to have a double hung window replacement or, garden window or refund for this window so we can have it replaced by another company.

I have never called the Revdex.com, so this is the first time.

I am a gilbert resident and believe in giving business to local companies, etc.

I received a marketing call from Sunscape Windows and Doors today. A really nice lady did the marketing call. She said, I am not trying to sell anything, we are just doing advertising in the area, and would like to look at your windows and doors, give you a quote, and give you a $50 card to [redacted] or [redacted]. I never do these types of deals, but she was nice, and this sounded like a true, nice way to do business. I told her I don't normally do these types of things, since it takes about 90 minutes of your time. She said, no problem, we come out, estimate what we can do for you, measure your windows and sit down and discuss with you. I said fine, I work at home. I can show them the house, they can measure while I continue to work, then I can meet with them. she said okay and we set up a time. She said that her supervisor had to call me back to confirm. RED FLAGS now, right. I said okay, how much time....not much, they just need to confirm. No problem. They called back, we set up the meeting and then she said you are single? I said no, I am married. she said can your wife sit in on this meeting? I said she works out of the home, and she would not want to sit thru a meeting talking about remodeling and windows at that. She said, sorry, we cannot do business with you. it requires both home owners to be present. RED FLAG Not what I call good business in todays economy. I, as the home owner, am willing to spend 90 minutes to listen to their presentation? All of this time wasted. Why did they not tell me on the front end. a full 90 minute visit. both home owners must be there. I called the company back, just to let them know, that their way of trying to get business might be losing customers. he did not care. both people, a full 90 minutes. I said okay, just trying to provide good feedback for you and your business. just wanted to pass this along. I will never give a good recommendation for this company, and would go out of my way to find a local gilbert window company to give my business to. Just wanted to let you know. this is happening in Gilbert. Thanks for listening. I am sure the real owner would not allow this to happen. thanks for being there to listen to the consumers on the street
