I don't even know where to beginLuxury is not a word I would use to describe the quality of these townhousesPeeling tile flooring, cheap appliances, windows that leak, broken air vents and cheap temporary fixes to problems that result in additional calls for help are just a few of the problemsThe office staff is disrespectful and does not follow throughThey brush off issues as 'no big deal' and unless the issue directly impacts them or the integrity of the home, they do nothing about itComplaints about drug use, violence, high levels of noise by neighbors and animal feces being left uncleaned were ignored by managementThese issues alone created a neighborhood and community that I no longer felt comfortable having my kids inPolice were called to the property several times a week for various reasons by tenants as well as by people in the surrounding neighborhoodsPromised updates were never followed through on - example: Our home had windows the leaked and in the winters mold developed on the walls and framework around themI was promised new windows and framework to rid the unit of the mold, but this was never taken care of despite multiple attempts on my part to get it doneExample 2: The foundation of the porch was damaged; there was a large crack and hole in the foundation of the front porchSmall animals were living in this areaThe response by the maintenance team was to glue a piece of plastic and some rocks to cover the holeThis 'fix' was repaired each year at inspection timeAlways with a slightly larger piece of plastic and more rocks to cover the growth of the damageDo not be fooled by the quality of the model unit, the actual homes are not up to the standards they try to convince youI would not recommend this community to anyone, especially those looking for a family friendly area to raise their childrenIt is over priced for the quality and areaYearly significant rent increases with no updates are made to justify the increasesDespite promises from management for property maintenance and repairs that these increases were supposed to coverThe final straw for me was after I had terminated my lease and moved outThe property manager did not transfer the water bill out of our name as stated they would on our bill as well as in our move out paperworkAfter recieving the bill for dates we did not rent the home, I called the office to get it taken care ofI was encouraged to 'let it go' and just pay itAfter refusing to pay for services for the property I didn't rent, I was told that no one lived there, so the full month would only be for the dates we lived there - which was a lie as I know that new tenants moved in shortly after we moved outAdditionally, the dates that we rented the home for in accounted for on the bill were dates we were not occupying the unit - so there was no water usage at all on our partAfter being belittled by the property management, I was made to feel that it was my responsibility to pay for their mistake and oversight, as well as the usage from other parties for the serviceMy constant refusal finally resulted in an offer to pay for a portion of the month - but not for the full amount of time that they should have been responsible forWe lived in this community from September - June
