Review: In July I was looking for an appartment and I ended up finding a unit and giving a deposit at the [redacted] Colonial Apartments for a upcoming unit. Several days later I return to ask when I would be able to move-in and came to find out that the property was sold. I then found out that a unit would not be availabe for me to move in and my deposit was not return to me. I tried calling [redacted] to ask for my refund and I was told that the new owner would give it back since they acquire all the assets. That is what I was told by [redacted]. So I contacted the new managers at the propety , after getting the run around and finally getting someone to understand the issue I waited and nothing. I field a complaint on Artherton Apartments and in October the manager finally called me and explain that the refund needs to come from [redacted] Colonial. I am filling the complaint because I have reached out to both properties and none have been able to give me my deposit back. Here we are in November and I still have not received my deposit of $200 back. I feel that the refund should come from [redacted]ince they are the ones that took my deposit and I have proof that they cashed my money order.Desired Settlement: I would like my deposit return since a unit was never deliver to me and it has gone on for five months.
