Review: I found this apartment for rent on Craig's list advertised at $995 per month. I looked it up on the apartment complex's official website. It also was advertised at $995 per month. I send my boyfriend to tour the apartment. The manager provided an adequate tour of the unit informing him that the apartment was $1,495 per month. He stated that the ad was for $995 per month. She informed him that the unit that she had shown was fully upgraded and that was the reason for the price difference and that a unit without the upgrades was $1,295 per month and that there was no units for $995 per month. I called a few days later to question her about the price difference. Upon calling I stated I was interested in the unit that was $995 per month, she said okay, I explained what had happened a few day prior. I asked her if she had any units available for $995 per month and she said she had just rented the last unit, even though she had previously told my boyfriend she did not have any units at $995 per month. I told her that her ad on her website stated they were $995 per month and that was false advertisement and it should be removed or I would contact the Revdex.com. She asked for my name and told me to never call her office again. If the units have recently been upgraded causing a price increase then the website should reflect that. We wasted an entire day touring an apartment that is well out of our price range.Desired Settlement: I would like the ads on Craig's list and the ad on the website to be changed to prevent any further misconceptions from any potential clients.
