Sunrise Center Apartments

Review: I had given sunrise center apartments my deposit to move in, 700. dollars.I then decided not to move in because of the condition of the apartments and complex. I didnt sighn any lease paper work just paid the money and got a reciept. upon telling [redacted] the manager she said she would check with the head office and they said they would refund all my money. That was around the first of september and I am still waiting for the 700 dollars that I had given them. When I did get a hold of her about three and a half weeks ago she told me that she finished the paper work and that I would be getting my money. I have tried to contact them and cant get a hold of anything other than an answer machine and nobody will return my calls. Review: The current maintenance was in the process of rebuilding all the porches, landings and balconies in the complex. We are downstairs and the landing above us and the support beams are cracking from the structure not being level or built correctly. It is getting worse every day and not getting fixed even after complaints. This is unsafe and I am holding my breath and waiting for it to come down and crush either someone in my house or any of my neighbors. Problems like this run through out the entire 171 unit complex. Porches and landings that were torn down 2+ months ago have still not been rebuilt or taken care of. This place is so unsafe and neglected.Desired Settlement: Whatever needs to be done so that someone doesn't get killed.
