Our original solar installation was performed by Sea Bright We recently had to replace our roof partly because of a leak caused by the original solar installation We contacted Sea Bright to uninstall and re-install our solar panelsThe uninstall went smoothly, however, we are having a great deal of trouble getting Sea Bright to re-install our system
I am rejecting this response because: The response from Sea Bright Solar is not accurate Our roof had to be repaired because it was leaking due to the faulty installation done by Sea Bright Solar on our initial system. This installation was supposed to be covered by the Sea Bright Warranty The re-installation was not done in a timely manner We had reached out to Sea Bright on a number of occasions stating our situation - we live a high attitude and our central heating had been off from the time the panels were removed I am a senior citizen, so not having central heat caused hardship Our pleas fell on deaf ears In addition to this we lost the use of our solar system for an extended period of time This another cost we have been forced to pay due to the faulty workmanship and lack of performing tasks in a timely manner We were given an original price of $when MrMiramontes discovered that we did not have the original text message he doubled that amount We feel that we should be refunded $because we should have not had to pay for the uninstall and re-install in the first placeIn fact, in retrospect, Sea Bright should have paid for the repairs to our roof that was caused by their faulty workmanship
We did increase the size of his system, reinstall and re-commission his system as planned earlier this monthAlso, he was given a discount as requested from our officeWe have already tested his system and it is performing as planned. Our customer is free to reach out to us at any time with

We have communicated with our customer regarding this request and explained that our agreement did include a Sunpower monitor, which was installed with his systemAny additional equipment was not part of his contract, and the monitor is working

All work is professionally done and they handle everything
We have worked with our customer as closely as possible. With all respect, we disagree with some of the conclusions our customer has come to. Yes, the system was installed for about 8 years. We disconnected and removed the solar at his request, and this had no impact on central heating. At the time he requested a quote to remove and replace the system, he did not indicate that the solar was the source of a problem. He also chose to buy more modules to increase the size of his system at the time of reinstallation., We are available for all other customer service questions. Thank you.
