Painful treatment due to improper freezing, continued to work on my teeth when I informed the dentist of intense nerve pain.
I saw *** and she performed dental work on me despite my protestations due to pain. I was improperly frozen (5 needles) and could still feel intense nerve pain. She continued working on it despite my complaint of pain to the point of tears.

The next day I was in extreme pain through my gums and jaw and called to go back because something was wrong. No one called me until the next day, so I lost 2 days of work.

I went back in and saw *** who was extremely rude and demeaning, insinuated that I was lucky he was fixing the first dentists mistakes. He adjusted my bite and gave me zero answers on why my face was very swollen and painful and left me concerned I had an infection that would be left untreated. I asked him for an antibiotic and his response was "I'm the doctor and you're the patient".

I had to go to another dentist for peace of mind who explained that the improper freezing was the likely cause of my swelling and pain, provided me with pain relief and advised me to walk in if signs of infection got worse.

To make matters worse, *** the office manager offered me a full refund and apologized for the doctor's behavior. A while later she called and told me that my cheque was waiting at the counter for me in Woodstock. I went in 4 separate times and they "couldn't find it". They finally reached out and said they weren't going to give me a refund anymore because I made a complaint with the Royal College of dental surgeons. which I perceive as blatant retaliation.
