My daughter took her car (Honda Civic Hybrid, which is also in my name) into Checkered Flag Honda for a recall on Wednesday, June 15th, While she was there for the recall Checkered Flag noticed that her inspection was due and offered to inspect her car for free She agreed Checkered Flag Honda came back stating that her care required over $1,in repairs to pass inspection She declined to have the repairs done, preferring to get an independent estimate When they went to get her vehicle, one of their vendors ran into my daughter's vehicle, causing SEVERE damage
Although this occurred while the vehicle was in the possession of Checkered Flag Honda, they did not offer her a loaner vehicle, but told her to bring the vehicle back to their body shop for a repair estimate When she brought her vehicle back in on June 20th, they told her that the vehicle was totaled and they would not repair it She was offered $1,in cash to settle the matter She declined
During this entire time, no one from Checkered Flag ever contacted or reached out to her even though the damage occurred while the vehicle was in their possession There was ABSOLUTELY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE or any proactive action on the part of Checkered Flag Honda to resolve this
My daughter feels that she has been cheated and taken advantage of I have reached out to the General Manager for Checkered Flag Honda on multiple occasions, but have been unable to reach them I have left messages and have requested a return call, but never received one
I finally reached the executive assistant for the owner of Checkered Flag Honda They did finally look into this, but by that time I had turned this over to our auto insurance carrier to resolve I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS DEALERSHIP FOR YOUR VEHICLE
