complete the job. That is the amount we "typically" charge. Within the estimate we break it down between material and labor based on experience and/or information at the time. The labor and material estimate is to give the customer an "idea" of how we arrived at the dollar amount. In [redacted]'s complaint she said she was over charged for material. She was credited for the extra material not used. As far as her labor hour complaint, The estimate was given, accepted and that is what was charged, minus credits for material. She is also not taking into consideration hours charged while not on the job site. Ie, transportation of equipment and materials etc. She also claims the project was not completed in full. As per her request, the drain pipe was never attached. The drainpipe is a piece of pvc pipe that would take 30 seconds to attach. In regards to backfill and walkway. The wall was backfilled to a finished grade. However, [redacted] requested additional fill be added. Everything was completed to her satisfaction. As far as the walkway, We were hired to build a retaining wall. We were not hired to build a walkway. All work expected from our company was complete. Upon completion [redacted]'s had stated that everything looked beautiful. I will send the estimate in a follow up email.I am trying to explain that although the estimate is not exact, That is the amount we typically charge.Thank you,Bobbie Jo S[redacted]Sunny Hill lawn and landscapes, LLC
