Review: I was in Sunil's office located at [redacted] on February 1, 2013 in order to file my tax return. I paid 150.00 (my bank paid this check on 2/4) for this service. I have been waiting to receive my refund since that date only to learn on 2/21/13 from [redacted] (of the Internal Revenue Service, operator ID# [redacted]) that Sunil did not file my return!

When I called regarding this matter his office staff informed me she could not research the matter stating “I am not able to access the system” because she was at a different office at the time. She was at the very best lacking good customer service, unconcerned, and disinterested.

I am a Social Worker and not financially secure and I know the fee I pay is not what Sunil earns with some more affluent clients. Consequently, I had already allocated my tax return funds for payments that have time constraints. Unfortunately, due to Sunil's error, I will not be able to meet my financial obligations in a timely manner.

If he decided not to file my return until after the check cleared; the check cleared on 2/4. I believe the truth of the matter is that he simply forgot my return. I do not believe it was intentional. Nevertheless his mistake has caused me considerable repercussions.

I am asking at the very least to have my fee reimbursed.

I would greatly appreciate a response to this request.Desired Settlement: I would like my filing fee of $150.00 returned to me.
