As I understand the complaint, there were many roaches in the first unit per Mr*** which was located on the 3rd floor
The unit had had multiple contractors in there prior to him moving in including a painting company, a cleaning company, and a carpet contractor as well as being final walked by the staff prior to him moving inAll contractors were contacted and asked if there had been any roaches or evidence of roaches in the unit when they were working in it and they all stated there were noneDespite there being no evidence of roaches, the manager apologized and instead of arguing with him or making accusations, she offered another unit in a different building, and now on the 2nd floor, he was also given a total of $in concessions for his inconvenience of moving what things he had moved into that first unitMr***'s base rent is $1455, he pays for garages at $each, plus a $upgrade due to a short term lease of only months, I feel that asking for another months rent plus pay his garages is unreasonableIf he would like to move, I will let him out of his lease without penalty, and I will refund his deposit of $as long as it's left clean and without damages, but I will not pay for his move nor give him additional concessions against his current rentI'm very sorry that he feels we have not handled this properly but the property simply has not had an infestation of roaches as he states, and with so many other 3rd party witnesses, never once seeing a roach nor evidence of a roach, it's hard to justify giving away anything more than we already haveHe states he has pictures but how do we know that the roaches he has pictures of didn't come from Mr***'s personal belongings that he had already moved into the apartment? I do not ever like to accuse someone of bringing roaches with them but sometimes it does happen depending on where their boxes were located before putting inside the apartmentAgain, I'm sorry that all of this has happened and Mr*** feels that we've not done enough but there is simply nothing more that we can do for him
