with this reel (we recommend using a 5/8th vinyl hose on all of our units. Using a rubber or commercial hose can cause difficulties with the rewinding process and with the hose guide assembly).

I received the new one, and it works much better. I put the same hose in the reel, also placed the box in the same spot. Thank you for replacing the defective one.
