With regards to the complaint # [redacted] from [redacted]
We were contacted by a representative of the Housing
Opportunities Commission of [redacted] to perform a move for [redacted]
The representative also mentioned his need for storage. When I contacted [redacted]...
[redacted] to make arrangements for his move, I inquired about his need for storage.
I told him I could provide a quote/estimate based on the list of goods to be
stored. The list he provided was as follows:
Dresser, 2 TVs, Bed,
Desk, 10-15 boxes (20 items)
He was given a quote/estimate of $55 per month, with the
first month for $1 (with a three month minimum)
His goods were picked up and placed into storage on 5/1/15.
His goods consumed a lot more space than estimated, and after a review of the
inventory it was determined that he sent significantly more than what was
provided for the estimate. The list of goods actually placed into storage were
as follows:
17 Totes,9 crates,microwave,fax machine,lamp,bike,tool bag,3 tool boxes,guitar,2 tables,vacuum cleaner,rocking chair,and other misc. items. (76 items total)
We informed [redacted]
of the increase in storage cost due to the increase in space being consumed.
