The worst experience I've ever had in my life. They did not take my health issue seriously and made me feel bad about coming to the ER for treatment. I was told by three different people that they are to treat life threatening situations not to diagnose and cure. And kept asking what was I looking for them to do. Every muscle, joint and bone in my body hurt. At check in my blood pressure was 189/117 and an elevated temp. The first PA was cracking jokes and told me she didn't have a magic wand to find out what was wrong with me. At which point I walked out and was ready to leave. The people at registration were more concerned about me than the PA and stopped me from leaving. They assigned me another PA, who said basically the same as the first one but in a nicer way. When I expressed concern to the PA about my blood pressure. He assumed I suffered from high blood pressure and when I told him I didn't, he said it was probably due to the stress of coming into the ER and the pain. He refused to have my urine tested even after the nurse expressed some concern about the color. They order blood work that showed high levels of my white blood cells and a few others that were elevated but he didn't explain. They gave me something for the pain, which helped the pain everywhere except the left side of my neck and shoulder. Which I explained to the nurse after she took out my IV and taking my blood pressure again which this time showed 199/122. They gave me a pill to lower my blood pressure made me wait another hour and discharged me and never addressed the pain I still had in my neck and shoulder. I will never voluntarily go to that ER again.
