Some warranty work was completed. The trade wasn't paid. Other warranty work has not been completed. [redacted] doesn't respond to communication attemptsA painter was contracted by Sun Country to complete some warranty work on our new build. The painter has not been paid and has placed a lien on our home. Our mortgage company is now pressing us to pay the trade and to seek legal action against [redacted] ourselves. This only increases our costs as we would have to pay a lawyer to act on our behalf to try and collect the money from [redacted].We have tried to contact [redacted] by phone,email, letter, and in person. He is non-responsive. We also have outstanding warranty work. Some was identified when we took possession of the house in August/13. Issues include: damage to the casing above garage door, issues with stucco, exterior windows not cleaned (part of original contract), driveway damaged by stucco crew and crumbling, pocket door in master closet squeaking, exterior window trims covered with stucco.We had several conversations with [redacted] about this work and he always promised that he would get it taken care of, but never delivered on his promises.Desired SettlementWe want [redacted] to pay the painter immediately for the work that was done on our house so that the painter can remove the builders lien from our home.We also want a financial settlement from [redacted] for the warranty work that [redacted] was to have completed. [redacted]

I contracted Sun Country Homes to build a house for me in 2014 and I have now started to receive Notices of Liens registered against my property.I honoured my end of the contract and paid in full however Sun Country homes did not pay their sub contractors and I am beginning to have liens registered again my home [redacted]Desired SettlementI just want Sun Country to settle their debts with their sub contractors and clear these liens.
