We spent minutes in the Oakbrook, IL office with Sun Cities Larry Eastman He told us that the 4.65% advertised CD bank offer that he signed us up for through [redacted] Federal Bank is a month promotional offer funded by the bank After signing us up, he informed us that the offer just expired and that he would contact us in a few days with a new CD offer He never contacted us and I called him twice, leaving messages on his voicemail, with no return call Then I called [redacted] twice, both times having the bank tell me that it is Sun Cities that provides the bonus offer, not the bank, as Larry informed us, and that the bank would contact Sun Cities and I would get a response from Sun Cities and/or [redacted] Bank Over one month later, I have received no response from Sun Cities or from *** As a result, I have a meaningless [redacted] account and wasted alot of time!
This is a great company They did a superb job on my gate and I would highly recommend them
I obtained a CD from Sun Cities Financial in Sun City, AZin May I was supposed to receive a "bonus" check from SCFG in July I have not received the checkI contacted the office by phone-once leaving a message with the receptionist and the second time leaving a message on voice mail-asking for someone to call me backI did not receive any callI then sent an e-mail through the contact portal on their web-site again asking for a callI have not heard back form themPoor customer service? Or just a scam? I recommend you not do business with this company

The bonus is paid after 90 days of opening an account and our records show you have received it in the on time. if we can help please let us know.
I had a productive meeting at their office and signed up with BofII received my bonus on time and was pleased with my transactionThis was over a year ago but I wanted to make sure there WAS a positive reviewI saw some that weren't
I have had three transaction dealings with Sun City FinancialEach time I have been very satisfied and received the bonus promisedThere was no high pressure and I found the woman I worked with to be very business like, knowledgeable and pleasant
These are the rudest, most stuck up people I have ever spoke toIf, you wanted to be treated like garbage these our your guys
In addition to what I wrote about my experience with this Sun City in Oak Brook, Il is that I had to give them my S.S along with all my personal informationI also put those twice online when I tried but not successfully to access my account with Axos bank ( the only way they operate is online) I was requested to type online my S.Sand the other personal information which made me very uneasy so I'm worried what it may happened with my personal information online also with this Sun City financial group which didn't give me any disclosures of their policy
These guy's are awesome had a fence installed for my dogsthey did everything I had asked for with out complaints, they had all materials to complete the job , very friendly people even when they where working,they gave me a estimate and I had to change a 4ft gate to a ft gate and they still honored the quote you guys rocked itand yes they will be back to finish my yard Thank you for your servicea 10+rateing from me

I went to the Orange Ca. Office twice to open up a CD. I was turned away by [redacted] and told he was to busy to accept my business. I made another appointment for 3:30 I got there at 3:10 contacted him and he said he had another customer, and that he would see me at 3:30. This guy never showed up or even contacted the receptionist to let me know what happened. Don't do business with [redacted] in the Orange Ca. office.
Company brochure (Rev 06/15) states that "In almost all cases, Sun Cities Finanacial Group will present 2-3 banking institutions for you to choose from..." I drove 150 miles to the Denver office only to be told by Mr. Jeff S[redacted] that I had only 1 choice, B of I, an internet bank I've never heard of. I asked S[redacted] if there were any other banks that were offering a .85 cd interest rate and he said no. I was also solicited to purchase an annuity from [redacted] in which I had no interest.
The brochure further states "There are over 6,500 federally insured banks and Sun Cities Financial Group works with any of them willing to accept deposits." That would lead one to believe you will be offered several institutions. Although the words "cd" and "banks" appear dozens of times in the brochure, nowhere is found the terms "annuity" and "insurance company." On its face, the brochure is deceptive.
This experience cost me $30 in gas money, for which I would like to be reimbursed by Sun Cities Financial Group.
