Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 12494275, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I feel like I shouldn’t have to pay anything to get out of that apartment. I was only there for a month and after that month I was going back and forward the management about me having black mold in my apartment. I went the correct and legal way to get out of this apartment with getting that paper from legal aid and having the health department come out. I didn’t want to move because I needed a home for me and my two [redacted] but I had no choice because they would not deal with the black mold situation. They decided to actually do what the health department man said after they told me I had to vacate the apartment. I have the pictures of the first day the mold appeared and the last day when they decided to vacate my [redacted] and I were they tried to cut out the wall but the picture shows even once they cut out the wall the wood on the ceiling above was so molded it’s was peeled back so eventually once that wood had got soft enough the person’s tub above me wold have fell through my ceiling. And even through all this Un-cooperation with the management I still paid rent for the previous months. Which on the legal aid paper it states “I’m entitled to any prepaid rent” I honestly want this off my credit due this was not my doing and I went the legal way to break my lease due to management not wanting to fix the issue the correct way.Regards,[redacted]
My records show that no eviction was filed. She did give a 30 day notice. As it states in her lease if she is going to move out before the lease ends she has to give a 30 day notice, pay that month’s rent and the break lease fee of $1500.00. Those are the charges that are showing on her credit...
report. She also disputed the charges with the collection company in November 2015. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to resolve this complaint. Thanks, [redacted]
