Unfortunately [redacted] went out of business in along with several other window manufacturers due to the housing market crash and the downturn of the economy American Window Products has never offered product warranties, we are a dealer for several different window manufacturers and all of the product warranties are provided by the manufacturers As a dealer we offer solutions to our customers using after market replacement parts at discounted pricing to help minimize the costs to our customers, including reducing our standard trip and labor fees for our [redacted] customers We offered additional discounts to Mr [redacted] to try to help him with his service and until receiving this complaint we thought our offer was generous and believe it will be difficult for him to have his service completed for the pricing we quoted We will be glad to work with him to help get his service completed if he chooses to move forward at the price originally quoted We do require a 50% deposit for all service orders and the balance is due at the time the service is complete
