Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and do not appreciate the disrespectful treatment I have received on the phone or choice of words in the businesses response. I was never told that my insurance declined to pay or that I owed anything until recently that I received a very unprofessional letter in the mail and disrespectful call where the guy hung up on me after telling me to pay him $300 now or he's taking legal action. I need to research what insurance I got after that so that they can submit the bill to them however it was 2 years ago so I will need some time to get the information. If I didn't have coverage then I will set up a payment plan. Lastly, please treat people with more respect when you speak to them, I wasn't rude to you so I don't deserve that back. I may be another  bill to you but I am still a person. If I knew I wasn't covered under insurance I would have paid 2 years ago at the time of service which makes me wonder why [redacted] didn't even tell me I was being charged full price and then I don't see a bill for 2 years! How am I suppose to react to that?? That's bad business.
Regards,
[redacted]

Summit Collection Services, Inc. represents [redacted].  We have represented them for 18 years.  [redacted] was provided services by our client in September 2014 plus other dates of service.  We researched the notes on her account and saw that the insurance policy was...

terminated 8-31-14.  This may be the reason the insurance did not cover her bill.  Our representative tried to make a payment plan.  We are still willing to do that.  If Ms. [redacted] will call us we are willing to make a reasonable payment plan with her. We see mention of a company called [redacted], we are not aware who they are or why they are involved.  We confirmed the account is still owed.  We will forward proof of debt to Ms. [redacted] so she can see the bill is owed.  Hopefully we can make a reasonable payment plan with her.  We see under Desired Settlement, Ms. [redacted] would like our company to be shut down.  With all due respect we think we will stay open for business.  She would like confirmation she does not owe the account for $2850, but this is not the case.  Please call or contact Summit with any questions, [redacted], Summit President.

I feel that [redacted] threatened me with Justice Court if I didn't pay my bill in full.I originally received a message from [redacted] on Thursday June 5, 2014. I returned his call and left a message. On June 9, he returned my call and told me that I had five days to pay a bill in full or it would be turned over to Justice Court in [redacted]. And if they turned it over that there would be additional fines and fees for me to pay. On June 12, 2014, [redacted] called again and asked me if the money would be in his office before the end of business day or did he have to hand over my case and he stated it would be to my detriment. I told him that he should call the owners of the company I owed, as I had made a payment agreement with them. He said he will not make any phone calls and asked if I was paying or not. I told him that I have an agreement in writing and to have a nice day. I hung up. Desired SettlementI think a call of demand and threatening someone that it is to their detriment is illegal. I think Summit should be reprimanded for their illegal, threatening practices.

First letter received October 2, 2014,addressed to [redacted]. They are looking for $467.97 for a [redacted]. Received another letter from same place address to the same name mention above looking for $468.69. My mother [redacted] called the phone number of [redacted] and said she was rude and hung up the phone. Another letter posted mark 10/30/14 was received on 11/3/14, looking for $469.52. As to my knowledge I do not have a [redacted] in Nevada. I feel at this time they have the wrong person to begin with as that is not my name they keep sending the letters to but the address is right. By receiving these notices I feel I am being harassed for something I don't owe money for. Could you please look into this matter for me at this time.Product_Or_Service: N/AOrder_Number: N/AAccount_Number: N/ADesired SettlementBy you talking to Summit Collection Services to straighten this matter out.

Unfair use of daily interest on a debt.I think that daily interest on a debt is not legal and smacks of the Mafia. It's a shame to use something like that on a widow of 74 years. Desired SettlementI would like the removal of the daily interest.

Review: He is trying to colect a debt that is a mistake more doctors billing office.

he said I owe $275.54 on 09/24/13 now the next day 09/25/13 he sent another bill for $1,136.00.

He doctor office is working on this matter, but he will not listen.

This statement said $275.00 not $1,136.00. Both are incorrect the balance is zero.

Insurance paid and I paid my co-pay.Desired Settlement: Have him straighten the billing invoice.

Response:

We are attempting to collect a debt owed to Valley Physician Services in the amount of $275.54. We sent a letter to Mr. [redacted] to that effect. We did not send another letter stating $1136 owed, we checked and do not have another account in that amount. After all insurances paid, Mr. [redacted] amount due is $275.54. He states the balance is zero but our client states otherwise, showing $275.54 owed. If he has proof of payment or something else that would substantiate his claim of a zero balance, please ask him to forward it to Summit, Thank you.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: I have attached a copy of the letter received which says there is a balance of $1136.00.

My wife was also told by Mr. [redacted] that the previous billing company was let go due billing problems. Which I seem to be one of their incorrect codeing or

billing errors. I paid my co/pay of $25.00 each time I went to the office and my insurance has never had a annual deductible. This needs to be rectified on their side as to not have a negitive effect on my credit. I am being put into collections from the errors of a billing company.

Review: I PAID OFF THIS ACCOUNT IN FULL ON 10-23-2014, COMPANY SENT ME A LETTER CONFIRMING THAT I PAID AND HOW THE ACCOUNT WOULD BE DELETED FROM THE BUREAUS. HOWEVER, AS OF TODAY THE ACCOUNT STILL SHOWS ON MY CREDIT REPORT.

Account Number: [redacted] Date Opened: 11/2012

Status: Paid,Closed.

My Social Security # [redacted]Desired Settlement: Have this account removed from my credit report as I have already paid off the amount owed and they promised they would have the account removed from my credit report!
