My 92 y/o mother was given 2 giftcards to this salon by relatives Dec. 2014. The salon changed hands approx [redacted] and kept the telephone number and business. My mother went to use her gift card in May and he refused to honor it saying it was a new business. They were also rude to her. I called the salon about it for her. The owner 'Kevin' also known as Besua Ea bought the business in [redacted] and said he KNEW there were outstanding gift cards he needed to honor.(was told by seller of business). He made up a story about not understanding my mother but said he would honor the gift certificate and to have her come in again. She went in a 2d time and he refused again, despite taking the business subject to the gift cards and despite stating he would. He pretended not to understand and keeps refusing to honor the gift cards. He's a scam artist and story teller taking advantage of the elderly and vulnerable.Desired SettlementAfter my mother went in 2x already trying to use the gift cards he said he would honor, totalling about [redacted] she is not giving him a 3rd chance to do the right thing. The gifts need to be refunded so she can go to a reputable salon and get her manicures and pedicures done. 1 gift was for a mani/pedi and the other for tha mani. She is elderly and walks with a cane and the salon owner does not deserve any more opportunities.
