We received a quote to replace a door lock on a security door, which was reasonable, and told that the initial trip charge (to diagnose the problem) would be deducted from the repair charge, if we decided to have them do the work
About six months later, we finally got around to asking them to do the work, and we were told that the initial trip charge is applied if the work is completed within two weeks (which I didin't recall them saying that)
Needless to say, they honored the reduction of the initial charge, did great work, when they said they would do it, and would use them again in a heartbeat
