Ms [redacted] enrolled in the Medical Assistant program at CyberTex Institute of Technology, Killeen Campus on 2/09/ Ms [redacted] was informed of all policies and procedure including attendance policies at time of enrollment and at new student orientation held on 2/6/ All students are also issued a school catalog at the time of enrollment detailing all school policies and procedures for students attending school at CyberTex Institute of technology Ms [redacted] was contacted both verbally and in writing on several occasions prior to violating attendance policies as directed by the State of TexasThese warnings are documented in her school file as well as signed copies of the warning letters issued to her Ms [redacted] was terminated from her program in 8/for violating the attendance policy by missing twenty percent of her program Ms [redacted] was allowed to re-enter the program in October of in accordance with the State of Texas regulations and completed her didactic phase of her training on December 14th Ms [redacted] was scheduled to start her Extern phase of training by January 11th in which she was unable to do because of her work schedule CyberTex spoke to her on several occasions regarding the start dates of extern and the policies for not starting within the required time frame CyberTex has made numerous efforts to place her at extern sites and consistently told by her that “work is more important at this stage of my life.” Ms [redacted] was then terminated a second time for noncompliance and violating the attendance policy We feel that CyberTex made a good faith effort by allowing Ms [redacted] to re enroll and finish her program [redacted] [redacted] [redacted] [redacted]
