*** *** is a liar - I have the newspaper clippings on the dates he poured the cement on my driveway- different daysthe tarps were ours he did not bring any tarps the only thing he brought was a truck he probably rented. He lied about *** from *** Concrete coming to my home. It was not ***. *** *** is a liar, he damaged my driveway - he pulled a pee stone and did not repair it. *** *** lied about when it rainedthat week it poured and It did not rain towards the end of the day the first day he poured cement. The days he called to come down were days that were raining - I have the texted messages and dates are on the text messagesI wanted to be home when *** *** came to my home because he is very aggressive when he dealt with my year old father in October 2014. *** *** failed to move a huge rock in the middle of my driveway, so my father did and asked *** why he left it*** was not professional in the way he answered my father. What generation mason would leave a big rock in the middle of the driveway before pouring cement. That rub down method is only good for removing bumps to paint cement..I swear to god he is lying!!!! dates he poured cemenet Sept 2014 $2500- Sept 2014 $& last payment made Oct $I will email text messages beginning March 31, through June 16th and weather dates and include *** newspaper clipping of weather on check dates (for that week) 9/- 9/and 10/6. Will email more pictures of other areas of my driveway that are now flaking and the rubbing stone area he "fixed" is flaking and chippingAlso have documentation what causes flaking to cement and why sand rose to the top of the driveway. Utube videos explain how to "repair" damage done by premature sweeping (caused the water in the cement to rise to the top ) "brooming" and too much water to the cement. does not mention any "rubbing method" I will attach my back up as soon as possible. Not to happy about going back and forth. I am so upset right now that you are taking advantage of me
Regards,

I am not aware of Woburn concrete coming to assess the damage done to my driveway. If this was the case of using salt then WHY DID THIS NOT OCCUR TO THE OTHER TWO SLABS!!!!!!! I've been told that due to rainy weather and brushing the cement early caused this to happen. NO SALT was used on the driveway!!!
Regards,?

The customer has stated a bunch of scenario's that just didn't happen.1.I didn't start her job because I knew rain was coming in?2.I used the technique that my father taught me many years ago.He was a mason as well.I take pride in my work!3.It did rain at the end of the day.By then the concrete was just about finished. We tarped the driveway off.The customer also let us use her tarp as well.If we new it was going to rain we would have brought plenty of tarps. The customer also stated the driveway was ready to wash away?? Not quite!I'm sorry this happened to her concrete!I haven't had many problems with customers. So excuse me for my inexperience on this matter.I went over to her house when I learned of this problem.I told her when it warmed up a little I would try to make things better.I tried to to go over to her house couple of times but she said she needed to be home. Finally we agreed on a day to rub down the spalling. My worker and I spent a day there rubbing out the spalling.I went to the store and came back to my worker telling me that the customer saying all we are doing is sweeping ?While we were rubbing I came across two salt pellets that were embedded in the concrete. One was burnt into the concrete 3/of an inch.I took them home with me.I also took pictures. While working in different towns I have noticed new concrete spalling. *** had it sidewalks poured last fall.*** *** on *** ***.The same thing happened that occurred to my customer. Not every slab was effected. One slab was fine the one right next to it spalled. It was a icy cold winter!Lots of salt was used. Her spalling started in March.I did the best I could like I always do
What we saw was that there had been some salt use over the winterI had Woburn concrete (***) come over and inspect the areaI also used a rubbing stone and try to help the consumer at no cost to the consumer feel I have done the best I can but I will not be refunding the consumer
Joe S[redacted] Masonry honored the quote, and arrived on the date and at the time promised. I have some experience as a mason, including twelve years in the Army Engineers.
I know good work when I see it The work done by Joe S[redacted] was exceptional. As noted below, I would and, indeed, already have recommended the company to a family member. Job well done.
