Review: I brought in three pairs of jeans for hemming to a 28" inseam. All three were shortened to approximately 24". Though they acknowledged multiple times that they made the incorrect, irreversible alterations to the three items of clothing which I had brought to them, they refused to take financial responsibility. The best I was offered in return for the brand new, never worn, now unusable items, was $70 in cash and a $70 gift card for their store. This was in spite of showing them the receipts they requested to see. I made multiple trips back to the store while they made their decision, and once because they told me they would refund my money if I had receipts for the purchase. When I arrived, they said it was more than expected and they refused. The three items were purchased just a week before through an online purchase for $130 and I paid an additional $36 for the alterations. Now I have three useless items. I've spent $166, made 5 visits to their store, and I have nothing to show for it.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the $36 I paid for the alterations, as well as the value of the three items that are now unusable (2 pairs for $39.99 and one pair for $49.99). I'm not interested in recovering shipping or taxes or anything else. The total I would like to be refunded is $165.97. I do not want a gift card or other equivalent, I want the cash value.
