9/17/15Dear Representative:The following is Second Story Book's response to the Revdex.com's file number *** of *** *** ***.*** *** purchased a book on Second Story Book's on line *** website and instead of having it shipped (the procedure) requested if she could pick the item up at
the Second Story Book's Rockville locationAt the time of the pishe came to the location that has an advertised 40% off sale of all the items located in the open store retail portion of the buildingPrior to pickup she was informed by phone that the sale does not apply to on line *** book purchases. The *** on line inventory is not physically available to the publicIt is located in an entirely different portion of the building from the retail sales area and is not even visible to the general publicWe allow customers to pick up on line sales at both our locations as a curtesy to offset shipping charges, *** *** was unaware of any unrelated retail sales discount at the Second Story Book's Rockville location when she bought the book on line and is trying to take advantage by using the Revdex.com complaint as a vehicle to receive an unwarranted $discount. Please refer to Second Story Book's customer satisfaction sales rating on ***.comWe sell hundreds on books on line each month and have the highest positive performance rating possible. We have extended the picourtesy to our on-line customers at both locations for decades and have never experienced an attempt like this to obtain an unwarranted discount.Being forced to defend our business practice over this matter is an example of how the Revdex.com is used by opportunistic individuals to take advantage of a business operating in good faith.Abusing the purpose of the Revdex.com as a vehicle to extort money by a fraudulent suggestion of a business practice is a serious charge and totally unsupportable in this situation.I can be reached at either ###-###-#### or email at secondstorybooks.com to discuss this matter.Sincerely,President,
