Response to complaint When Mr [redacted] and I first talked about having a new driveway Installed he shared with me his concernsThe biggest concern was that the water was running back into his garageAfter walking the driveway he and I agreed the problem was the grade of the driveway was pushing water back toward the garageWhat we done to solve the problem was removed the old driveway and graded it so the water runs away from the houseThen we installed a new driveway which looked very niceAfter a heavy rain a few nights later Mr [redacted] called me early the next morning and explained to me the driveway is holding water like a bathtubI was very surprised and told him I would be out within a couple daysI called my father who is my business partner to tell his about Mr [redacted] concernMy dad was close by and stopped by within minutesWhen he arrived there was no standing waterMr [redacted] explained that when it was raining heavily the night before that water was running down the driveway toward the public road(I thought that's what he wanted)When it's really raining hard water tends to pool up a little bitBut the driveway was drainingNow I see in his complaint he states that the water is ponding in his yardWhat we agreed was that the water would stop running into the garage which we solvedMr [redacted] says the water fills up like a bathtub but drains into his yardI cannot figure out what he wantsI'm confusedThe job is done very nicely and exactly what we agreed onSent from my iPhone

Well in response to the last letter I read from premier, and not to turn into argument, I said the only way you can fix what's wrong with the drive is by replacing, not what you saidOnly come over if your bringing your crewAs far as doing what was on the contract, I never saw the front page of the contract, I was handed the carbon copy that neither one of us signedBut the scope of work discussed as far as lowering the grade and making it clear the drive had to be lower than the concrete slabAs far as the water ponding issueOn the contract, step 2, grade driveway and compact baseGrade by Webster's definition means level ground, or to level off to a smooth horizontal or sloping surfaceThat part of the contract was not done correctMy driveway is FAR from level or flatMy last letter went into detaleI think the least a A+ rated company could do is stand behind what their saying about how good a job they didI invite the person I should talk to with complaints to actually come out to see, with the customer, how good you did.
