I was standing inside of a Subway location and the staff was helping me place an order using the Subway app. The order was placed but went to the wrong location, it went to the 1207 Bridge Street in Yorkville, IL. The app says if you need to cancel the order to call the location and provides their phone number. I called the location and the young woman that answered told me she couldn't cancel the order and that I had to call customer service. Customer service said call the location. I called the location back and the same young woman answered. She again told me she cannot cancel the order. Then she said she could cancel it but I wouldn't be refunded. She was incredibly rude so I asked for her name to file formal complaint with Subway customer service and she hung up on me. I called the location back and they just let the phone ring, never answered.
To whom resolves:In response to her getting wrong help from a different Subway than ours, resulting in our store making her order, then her wanting a refund took place with a whole lot of misguided people, including our store for not knowing how to handle a credit refund. Our stores are staffed with a bunch of great teenagers, that try their best. I regret and understand Kim’s frustration that day. Her payment has been refunded thru our credit card company BOA.
