[redacted] purchased a vehicle from us July 19, A week later I personally received a phone call from a family member (stated he was her cousin) in Mexico stating that the car would not startAt that point I asked them if there was anyway that they could bring the car into the shop so we can have it checked outThey said the car was in a tow yard or parked in an area that they needed to pay or they could not get the car outI told them that my hands were tied while the car was in Mexico that my tow company can only tow it within the US and that if they could get it to at least the US border I would help them get it towed in from there, I also told them that I would provide [redacted] a loaner car in the meantime while her car was being checked outDuring this time what [redacted] wanted was for us to pay a bill for the yard where the car was being held and also pay the Mexican tow company which I could not doOur warranty is very clear and does not cover such bills especially in another countryI also explained that the car is still under factory warranty for any manufacturer defects or unexpected breakdowns that would fall under the coverage [redacted] then had the car towed into to our dealership and we subletted out to the Dodge dealer being that the vehicle is under warrantyWhen Dodge finally did the inspection, they found water in the gas tank.....which most commonly happens when you gas the car in a different countyAt that time Dodge declines the warranty because its not something that is coveredWe have always returned [redacted] calls and we have done nothing but try to help her Sincerely, [redacted] General Sales Manager

(stated he was her cousin) in Mexico stating that the car would not start. At that point I asked them if there was anyway that they could bring the car into the shop so we can have it checked out. They said the car was in a tow yard or parked in an area that they needed to pay or they could not get the car out. I told them that my hands were tied while the car was in Mexico that my tow company can only tow it within the US and that if they could get it to at least the US border I would help them get it towed in from there, I also told them that I would provide [redacted] a loaner car in the meantime while her car was being checked out. During this time what [redacted] wanted was for us to pay a bill for the yard where the car was being held and also pay the Mexican tow company which I could not do. Our warranty is very clear and does not cover such bills especially in another country. I also explained that the car is still under factory warranty for any manufacturer defects or unexpected breakdowns that would fall under the coverage. [redacted] then had the car towed into to our dealership and we subletted out to the Dodge dealer being that the vehicle is under warranty. When Dodge finally did the inspection, they found water in the gas tank.....which most commonly happens when you gas the car in a different county. At that time Dodge declines the warranty because its not something that is covered. We have always returned [redacted] calls and we have done nothing but try to help her.
Sincerely,
