If we were the servicer of his student loans, then he indeed should not have paid a fee to have his loans consolidatedHowever, our automated compliance officer clearly states, "You understand that we are NOT the servicer of your student loans," where the customer then replied, "Yes." Therefore, the customer understood we were not the servicer of his student loansFurthermore, some customers call with questions, where our representatives freely give information and offer instruction regarding their student loans, even if the inquiring customer ends up disconnecting the call, after considerable time spent on the phone with our company.In this specific case with this customer who is unhappy, we took the time to educate, offer advice, and complete a service, in which the customer agreed toHe was enrolled into an Income Based Repayment Program with loan forgivenessHis current projected loan forgiveness is $62,
