Review: I signed a contract with [redacted] of Studio Hadas Architecture on October *, 2009 and paid him $3,000 in full to obtain approval from the Buildings Dep't of the Town of Hempstead for two bathrooms that I had installed in my home and to apply for and resolve two variances on my property./ One having to do with an oversized deck and the other with a shed that was on my property. He completed the bathroom approvals but did nothing regarding the variances on the deck and the shed. I have been pursuing him for several years trying to get him to complete the project. When I am able to reach him by telephone he apologizes profusely or has numerous excuses for why he hasn't processed the variance application with the Buildings Department. I have spent a lot of additional money to get surveys done but he has been totally unresponsive. I have received notices from the Buildings Dep't notifying me that my case is being abandoned by them due to lack of activity. Consequently I am now forced to start all over again.Desired Settlement: I would like my total expenses related to the variances on my deck and shed toi be refunbded in the amount of $3,000.00
