We paid $414.63 down for photography services for a wedding scheduled on May 30th 2020 (entire billed amount due at time of wedding was $16585.50). Once the Corona Virus became an issue and states were unilaterally closing, I reached out to Audrie to tell her that we would not be able to hold our wedding due to COVID-19. She said she would not provide a refund.
Per her contract (under Failure to Perform) it states if she is unable to perform the agreement due to illness, emergency, fire, casualty, strike, unsafe environment, threat, act of God... a refund would be issued. I believe given the current issues ( Wisconsin is under stay at home orders through May 26th and most likely would still prevent large groups from being held after that time) that she is unable to fulfill her contract and that we are entitled to a full refund of the deposit.
