We found that this complaint is related to StudentUniverse reservation code [redacted] , ticket number [redacted] , [redacted] reservation code [redacted] It is unfortunate that the customer missed his flight from Columbus, Ohio on the 28th of April, however StudentUniverse cannot take responsibility over what had happenedIt is the customer's responsibility to be at the airport at least hours prior to chetime for international flights, and is clearly stated on our FAQs ( [redacted] )The reservation's rules indicate that this ticket is non-refundable in case of no-showHowever, we can try to work with [redacted] to see if it's possible to refund at least a portion of the purchased ticketHowever, we cannot guarantee a positive outcome of our response as this will solely depend on the airline's decisionStudentUniverse will communicate with the customer regarding the refund request and other possible concerns he may have via email

Hi Revdex.com, As previously mentioned, the $is the change penalty of the airline, imposed by the airlineAs much as Studentuniverse would like to assist the traveler change her flight, the ticket is still bound to its rules and policies provided before and upon purchasing the ticketIt's never a scam as this is a legit penalty from the carrier and the customer is made aware and has to agree before the order can be finalizedThank you

If Student Universe has a good business relationship with these airlines, they should work to lower these rates with them, if it truly is the airlines pocketing this moneyTwo hundred dollars is a ridiculous penalty for a transaction made that to save about twenty five dollars, and it is bad businessThis company is not for the risk averse, as it is not safe and can end up costing serious money in losses to the consumerLike most scams, these companies market to suitable targets, in this case students who are low on funds, to gouge them of any remaining money they may have at every opportunityThis company will sink soon Regards, [redacted] ***
