Student Debt Advisory

April 2017, a representative from student loan advisors called to consolidate my student loan. They had information on one of my student loans therefore I agreed and gave them my banking information to begin the repayment process. And September 2017 I received notification from the United States Department of Education stating that my loans were delinquent and a payment was required. I informed Department of Education that I was making payments through student loan advisory, and they replied they have never heard of that agency before. I finally went online and found where student loan advisory is a scam. I immediately called my bank to perform stop payment to this agency.
