7/13/21 Inquired with Stubborn Rebel Farms about one of their saloons they were featuring
7/13 & 7/14 We discussed many options & company contact was very responsive to each message/question. Company representative (Zach) even contacted me a few times to ask how design planning was going & to encourage me to get something on the books before the deadline. I had researched the company & their reviews and while there were a few concerning reviews in my initial search, Zach seemed to be extremely responsive, excited to build my project, & made many promises through the discussions. These promises included a mid September delivery, the option to "pop in" to see progress as well as picture updates to be provided because of our distance from the shop, & several standard design options
7/15 After lots of questions & against our better judgement ignoring the negative reviews, we submitted our 50% deposit for a 12x35 Saloon
7/15-7/21 I sent several messages asking for confirmation our deposit had been received, submitting our schematic, & multiple "are you getting my messages"
8/3 I received the response "Good afternoon just wanted to let you know I haven't forgotten. I'll keep you posted as things progress"
8/4 I sent a message regarding the initial lack in communication & concern over the fact that there were still several items that we had not discussed that needed to be ordered. Response included asking for the roof selection. I immediately responded with selections with no return confirmation
8/16 Lengthy message sent regarding concerns with lack of communication & concerns on meeting the agreed upon terms. I mentioned the reviews that stated similar issues & asked for reassurance as well as offered up anything I could do to help progress. I was returned a response including the statement "Google reviews do not build buildings and move them nation wide we do!", an offer to cancel at that time but assurance that everything was still on schedule. I responded immediately & stated we still wanted to proceed forward but were still very concerned, wanting to know why several items still had not been selected/asked for
8/20 After multiple previous "checking in" messages from us, I received a response to my questions regarding the flooring & paint. I was asked to select it & that it would be purchased at one of the many trips to home depot. I immediately responded with selections.
8/26 After additional "checking in" messages, I received a response stating "I have cleared all the the 17th for your delivery"
9/11 After continuous requests for "status of build", I asked for confirmation of delivery on 9/17. I received a response explaining 2 of his crew had quit & the delivery would not be happening & would likely be the following week. I asked for an update on a new expected date as well as pictures to show proof that the building was even started
9/12-9/15 I sent several messages asking for pictures & requesting an update on the status with no response.
9/16 Sent a refund request. Received "Ok you'll see your building forsale. Please see your invoice for our refund policy". Refund policy states "If for any reason you would like to cancel your order after the deposit is made a full refund will be made within 45 days after refund is requested."
10/31 45 day deadline, no refund processed, no response
The Stubborn Rebel Farms is the most helpful and easiest company I have ever worked with! I have done business with them for many years and own 5 of their buildings! They have the knowledge and experience that surpasses any others. They have gone to great extremes to make sure I was happy with the buildings and the placement at my farm. Cant say enough about how helpful they are!
Love there products , nothing but a great experience and helpful . We have bought Multiple buildings from them and extremely happy with everything !!!
BEWARE! The owner of this company does not know how to handle customer service. He is unreachable 100% of the time and you cant rely on him whatsoever

I ordered a shelter though him December of 2018. Told me it would be delivered begging of May 2019. Well we had a wet spring which is acceptable so I stayed in touch till the property dried and contacted him in July. He answered and we had a good conversation, told me he can have it built in 3 days and delivered whenever I wanted. Then everything went downhill fast. I told him when I wanted the barn and tried calling over and over to get a delivery date, no answer. Finally texts me saying there is going to be a delay for 2 weeks. So the weeks go by and I call, no answer. Texts me its going to be another 2 weeks. So this goes on until September of 2019!!!!! Finally in the middle of September he texts me a delivery date. So my spouse and I take time off work to be home. What does he do... texts me less then a hour before the shelter should be in my driveway saying im not going to make it tonight. So I tried calling.... no answer. Then I tell him he will have to deliver on my time at 7:00pm the next day. Long story short he didn't contact me AT ALL. Sends me a email saying were going to cancel your account and refund your money. Then blocks me on all of his phones. THIS is the way he deals with customer service! I believe everyone should be warned because he ruined my year for getting horses to my property. Now I have to go another route. Its so sad that he treats people this way. Its not okay! PLEASE BEWARE!!!!!! P.S he doesnt allow reviews on his *** page for this very reason. Im not the only one who has been screwed!
I do not want this company getting a cent of my money with the way they treated me. Clearly they did not want to make it right and blocked my number.
This customer changed her order multiple time over the course of nearly a years time. Due to these changes and the nature of the delivery we were forced to give her a COMPLETE refund of her deposit on this order. This order was not able to be completed due to DOT laws and regulations. Stubborn Rebel Farms strictly follows our legal permits to haul portable buildings to customers. This customers building DID NOT fit these guide lines. So we refunded her deposit in full .

Yes I did change my order once in the spring way before they even started building the shelter. So how would that affect delivery? You couldn't call me to inform me of your complications instead you leave me hanging and clueless of when I was going to receive the shelter. Poor communication. First time I heard the order was canceled over DOT Laws. You had the shelter built and on a trailer and tied down with a delivery day, even sent me photos and your telling me that all of a sudden it would not pass DOT laws? If this was actually the case I would hope you have the common business sense to call your customers who are PAYING you and inform them of this. Instead you coward and cancel without a explanation and block me. The way you acted through this whole process is very poor. Try to think about your customers in the future because a business without customers is NOTHING.
I am at a loss for words in how to accurately review this company. I am a veterinarian and was recommended this company by a friend who had them build a stable for her horses and had a great experience... 3 years ago. I don't know what has happened in the past 3 years, but I have never witnessed a more poorly run company. I wanted a small cabin built so I can provide a space for peaceful euthanasias and do acupuncture for animals outside of the stressful clinic. We started communicating in April and were told the whole thing would take 8-12 weeks, and we'd receive a discount for doing something that benefitted animals and owners at their time of loss. We were strung along for 6 months. Communication was terrible. It was crazy excuse after crazy excuse. It was like a soap opera. Every week a new "tragedy" happened. At one point, we were expecting the cabin to be dropped off and 2 weeks went by past the drop off date and we got NO explanation. They didn't even reach out to us to say they weren't going to make it or why. WE had to contact them and they made an excuse that one of their trailers got in an accident, which is unfortunate - if it happened - but who conducts business that way?!? Two more episodes like this happened and they finally found the time to bring the cabin up and they didn't get there to deliver it until after 10 pm on a Thursday!! Luckily I live above my clinic so I didn't have to stand around for hours while they made excuses about why they were 5 hours late, then we struggled to move a small building onto a gravel pad in the dark when really I should have been putting my daughter to bed. To top it all off, the ceiling fixture which they told us to be installed wasn't - just a dangling wire and we had to hire someone else to install it AND 3 out of the 5 electrical plugs don't work. As a business owner, I can't imagine EVER conducting business that way. The communication was SO ridiculously absent. To go 2 weeks and not even contacting your client who paid you a 4-figure deposit after no showing is absurd. I literally thought their account got hacked and I was being catfished at one point. I made my friend who referred me to them verify their phone number to see if they matched because the excuses were getting so ridiculous. The cabin? It's cute, but the BS we went through to get it shouldn't be wished on anyone. And from what I can see, we never got the humanitarian discount we were promised in the first place despite being strung along and put through hell for 6 months. You'd think they would try to apologize or make it right... nope. This company needs to get their stuff together or stop taking on more clients. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Focus on the paying customers you have and treat them well!
This review is completely inaccurate. We waited 6 weeks for a print of what she wanted . I made several attempts to get in contact with the customer in reguards to the details of her order. The blatant attack on our business is unfounded and extremely unprofessional.
As always there are 2 sides to every story this was just as aweful of an experience for me as it was for the customer. I strongly urge anyone doing work for the Huron Veterinarian Clinic to take caution.
If you want to make some sort of assumption at how I conduct my business, instead of apologizing for the horrible customer service... alright. I recommend you check out our reviews, as we have pretty satisfied customers across the board. We have maintained nearly a 5 star review (4.7-4.9) for all of the years since I've owned it. I'm assuming that you disabled your review capability on facebook for a reason. Judging someone's business based on their frustrated response to an absence of customer service for a $15,000 structure doesn't quite translate. That's not chump change. Just saying.
My complaints, totally summarized are the following: 1.) Not delivering the cabin on the initial period of time it was said to be delivered, letting 2 weeks lapse before my office manager asked what happened; 2.) Again, not delivering the cabin on the day we had scheduled to be delivered [Tuesday]; 3.) Saying the cabin would be delivered by 5:30 on Thursday and it didn't get there until 10:30 pm which did not give us a chance to inspect the cabin for issues so they could be fixed before the staff member left the premises because it was midnight by the time it was put where it needed to be; 4.) Not installing the ceiling fan that was said would be installed upon drop-off, so we had to hire someone to do that because we are business owners that don't have time; 5.) 3 out of the 5 outlets DO NOT WORK which, again, we will likely have to hire someone to fix; 6.) Not giving us the "humanitarian discount" that was originally discussed back in spring for doing a good service to people and their pets in their time of need; 7.) One of the windows won't open; and now 8.) an inability to recognize their issues, apologize, or make any sort of reparations. These are huge issues! Come on, man! How can you dispute that these things would not be extremely frustrating? And unfortunately I know I am not the only one. A personal friend of mine has been blown off recently, and I read two other reviews (one disappeared) that described similar incidences. I suppose I'm lucky the structure wasn't dumped off in my driveway in the dead of night, like one other review I read.
The only time this interaction became "awful" for them was when I started calling them out for unacceptable conduct and terrible communication. You got your money on time and in full, we drew up blueprints for you like you asked, we were around when we were supposed to be for the cabin to be delivered. How were we awful? We did everything you asked. And there is no way you can say that Mac (office manager) was anything less than nice and understanding when you talked to him - the man doesn't have a mean bone in his body. There is nothing unprofessional about voicing your opinion about your experience on a review. It is a blessing and a curse in the world we live in. Let alone to serve as a representation of the animal hospital that I own and run? That's a bit of a reach. This experience would drive anyone nuts. I posted a review to get you to respond to me because I felt that I was about to get blown off. You became confrontational rather than apologetic, and now here we are.
As a business owner, I know how much it can hurt to get a bad review. I am not trying to attack you. If you had been upfront and apologetic, I would not be reacting this way. I voiced my concerns and you got defensive and essentially started gaslighting me for being "the difficult one." I just felt so disappointed by the whole experience. Yeah, we revised the structure of the cabin a couple times 4 MONTHS ago... how does that affect the crazy stuff that went on all throughout the month of September? What about not showing up for 2 weeks past the day you were supposed to deliver and we didn't get any sort of contact / explanation until we finally called you?! It takes a lot to get me to this point. We spent A LOT of money on this structure but the headache we went through to get it was more expensive to my personal wellbeing.
I purchased a shed from them 4/30/19 that was built already, and needed electrical, insulation and interior installed and was to be delivered by May 23rd, after several delays, lots of follow up calls on 6/24/19 he informs me the shed was stuck in the mud, and the driver that tried to get it on the trailer crushed the building. *** at that time offered a refund, I accepted and still today on July 15th I have no refund. The shed was $16,200, and on 4/30/19 I sent him a check for the required 50% deposit. I have tried to contact him many times, according to him 94 times to get this resolved, and there is only excuse after excuse. On July the 11th he sends me a picture of a check with the correct amount, and tells me he is sending it certified mail, I have asked for the tracking number with no more replies.

Refund He sent me a picture of the check for the refund of my deposit, I just want them to send me the money I am owed which is $8,100 to my home address, they have that address, and it is the one used on this form.
The customer cancled his order . As a result of this cancellation we are processing a refund. This issue in our end has been resolved. Our refund policy is 2 to 3 weeks. I have over $9000.00 invested in this shed that I now have try and recoup due to his cancellation. Sometime it would be nice if there was a customer data base like this. At any rate the check has been issue and should be arriving to him anyday.
