Review: My eight year old son took all boys hip hop for two years at this school. Weekly, we would ask [redacted] of his progress. At no point during the two years did we receive any complaints from [redacted] or [redacted]. In June 2013 we registered my son for the only all boys class that was offered. September 2013 less than a week before classes started I was informed by [redacted] that my son would not be welcomed in the class as his behavior was disruptive and distracting. I said to [redacted] no one ever advised me there was an issue. She stated she only learned there was an issue that day and that a parent had negatively requested that my son not be in her child's class. I told [redacted] that she and/or [redacted] had a duty to inform me if and when an incident occurs--not two years later and she shouldn't have accepted my deposit if he was not going to be welcomed in the class. Furthermore, she was not able to specify one incident that occurred. They offered an option for him to take private lessons, which would be an additional expense or join join my teenage daughter's all girls class. I told them that I had contracted for all boys group lessons, I was not willing to expend the extra money for private lessons and I would not have signed him up for private lessons. I also told her that it would be unfair for my daughter to have the responsibility of babysitting her brother in an all girls teenage class. I made it clear to [redacted] if there was an issue she should have informed me in a timely manner--not less then a week before classes. I advised [redacted] that her solutions were not an option and that I did not want either of my children attending a program where there was such a lack of communication. On September *, 2013 I informed [redacted] by e-mail that I wanted a refund of my deposit. I have contacted her several times since September *, 2013 requesting my refund, all of which have been ignored.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of my $30 dollar deposit as they are not willing to offer me what we originally contracted for.
