Hello; The president of this company Mario K*** is straight out lying about all issues in his response. I called him on his cell phone because that is what he told me to do if I should have any issues and that is what I did. Why is he making a big deal about a phone call to his cell phone? It's because he is trying to avoid the real issue which is his installers installed my new gutters incorrectly AND most importantly, he is not honoring the warranty. He is stating this is damage and it is not damage, it is simple, his installers installed my new gutters incorrectly. Also, about their so called 'trade secret' response...if this was true, why didn't anyone point this out the day they incorrectly installed the new gutters? Another tactic to get out of honoring the warranty and to admit they installed the gutters INCORRECTLY.Also, in his response, he finally admits that I am getting water in between the back of the gutter and the fascia board and that is because his installers installed the new gutters incorrectly!!!I never said anything about roofing issues and again, in his response he talks about roofing issues which he is trying to avoid the real issue which I stated above. I never threatened to sue him but now because of his lying response, I will hire a lawyer and take him to small claims court. This is not a threat, it is my next course of action. Someone has to stop this company from not honoring their YEAR NO EXCUSES WARRANTY. His response was all excuses! This is the second complaint via the Revdex.com against this company for warranty issues
Mr. D[redacted] has a 10 year warranty on lower roof the leak isleak is coming his I'm draining down into the lower roof.. We did a site visit the same day he called and took pictures of the convection mold and ice back up from his upper back roof down into his lower roof period. He was given an...
estimate to replace his upper roof and upgrade his soffits and guttersperiod. Last year when I signed him I asked him if he had any problems in his upper attic and would not let me go up there period. In fine print of our contract it says that we are not responsible for insulation problems or ventilation problems no exceptions.. We will not refund any money and he must do more work to solve the problem the many leaks we're all documented and every leak was fixed except the upper leak from the upper roof that is draining down into this lower section... I have corresponding documents and pictures that show the damage that he would not let me look at last year in his main attic... We are not taking blame or doing any free work for this man sorry mr. D[redacted] it's up to you to Turi insulate your attic upper and lower and ventilate your upper main roof so that these leaks do not carry down into the lower roof that has the warranty...
Business response taken over the phone by Revdex.com staff 8/12/15. Business says that Mrs. [redacted] called him on his cell phone on a Saturday about three weeks ago. Basically, she said that she had a friend of hers that was a roofer who said that they installed her gutters over the drip edge and that...
if they didn't come out and fix it she was going to sue them. Once she said that she was going to sue him, that is when he got upset with her and told her that, first of all, she shouldn't call his cell phone, she should direct her calls to his front office. Basically, they are not responsible for anything roofing, they were not there for roofing problems, there is nothing about roofing on their contract. They also told her that she should not believe her friend or the internet because they don't believe that either one of them can be deemed reliable. [redacted] was really mean to him on the phone and he got defensive. What he would have recommended, and did recommend to [redacted], would have been to have called the office and refrained from threatening to sue him because if she hadn't threatened to sue him they would have went right out. It is a trade secret not to use drip edge at the bottom of the roof. They would have charged her $500 to take the drip edge out and caulk the area. The drip edge stops the hidden hanger that goes on top of the gutter and holds the gutter on the fascia board, from going all the way up to the back of the shingle. She is getting a little bit of water in between the back of the gutter and the fascia board. The only remedy is for the consumer to pay them $500 to come out and fix it. If they do the repair the consumer's 10 year warranty stays in tact, but if the consumer hires another company, that would cancel the warranty. They don't have to send Mario, they can send someone else. In the fine print of their contract it says if damage should occur to the property they have a legal right to fix it or contract out the repairs to a private contractor if needed, and when the consumer threatened so sue them, the consumer took away their right to repair. The customer survey letter the consumer filled out gave them rave reviews.
Consumer sent the following update: Hi [redacted], the roofer was out at my house today and repaired the roof. I sat on the roof the whole time and watched .The roofer said he decided that the repair the city was allowing him to do to correct the problem would make the problem worse. He did...
the next best thing and took the shingles off in the designated areas and nailed down the roofing paper and put new shingles in. I am satisfied with the job . He also took care of the gutter problem according the city inspectors specifications. The roofer is contacting the inspector today (city offices are closed) and he will get the inspector out here tomorrow for the final inspection. I don't anticipate any problems since I saw the roofer complete the repair.Thank you so much,[redacted]
