I just spoke with Dr*** who has informed me that she will personally refund the patient as she asked in the first message of $94.61. Her medical records have been sent to her free of charge. Since we did mark on the prescriptions to hold the shipment until patient notified to release them we will not be sending the additional money request. I will let you know when the payment goes out. Revdex.com:Are you stating the the debacle caused by Dr *** office is Dr ***s fault? Dr *** and her office staff are the ones who did not get the scripts called in, called in to the wrong pharmacy, wrong quantity, etc. How can they say it is my original doctors fault! I asked for one smaller tube, *** said she'd look in the script history. I am not sure how they can continue to claim that the ordered o e bottle when the medical history that they mailed me clearly says 60gm bottle, quantity of 5!And they have yet to send over proof of anything! First they say it is the pharmacy fault, now it is a different doctors fault! All while not providing records showing what they did and when. And how is it not her fault for calling in both *** AND *** when I only asked for ***?
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below

I received a message back from Dr. [redacted] today regarding the patient complaint received in our office via mail onOctober 1, 2017. Upon her reading the letter from the patient she advised she did not recall the situation happening quite this way. Accordingly to our records we...
sent in 4 prescriptions for her to [redacted] each for 90 days with refills. The doctor did print on the e-script prescriptions to hold them as the patient requested. However, that is all we can do it is the responsibility of the patient to advise the pharmacy if they do not want the entire prescription shipped to them and not the physician's office. None of the prescriptions we sent were for more than 1 tube, or 90 days or pills for any of them. We didn't order anything for 10 bottles as mentioned in the patient's letter. The [redacted] as requested by the patient was enter for one tube with 3 refills for [redacted] and sent to them with a message to hold the prescription. The doctor has copied the records for the patient and we will be mailing them out this week. As far as the refund goes, we will need to contact our Central Billing Office to see if it's feasible to refund her the money. This wasn't really our error and they made decide she doesn't warrant a refund. Pamela M[redacted], Office ManagerFamily Medicine Center of Strongsville
